SUPLEMENTASI PREBIOTIK DARI TANAMAN LOKAL PADA MEDIA PERTUMBUHAN Lactobacillus Dad 13

Abstract

The research was done o study about prebiotic suplementation from local plants on growing media of Lactobacillus Dad 13. The aim of research was to get the source of prebiotic from local plants and the best concentration of prebiotic addition that could stimulate of Lactobacillus Dad 13 growing . The randomized complete block design used as experimental design with two f actors. The first factor was source of prebiotic (P1 dahlia tubber, P2 garlic, P3 banana, P4 soybean and P5 sweet potato), the second factor was concentration of prebiotic addition )K1 1,5% and K2 3%). The resukt showed that the concentration of prebiotic addition was not e ff e c t o n all o f t h e p a r a m e t e r s , while t h e s o u r c e o f p r e bio tic a ff e c t o n p H m e diu m o f Lactobacillus Dad 1 3 but not affect on total acid and the number of cell. Based on the number of Lactobacillus Dad 1 3 cell, prebiotic powder from garlich, dahlia tubber and soybean could stimulate of Lactobacillus Dad 1 3 growing but not significanly.
