PREDIKSI KEMATANGAN TANDAN KELAPA SAWIT DENGAN METODE EDGE DETECTION DAN PEWARNAAN RGB

Abstract

In the cultivation of oil palm, harvesting becomes the most important activity because it affects the production and quality of oil palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). Harvesting FFB is done when the maximum oil content of the minimum Free Fatty Acid (FFA) content. In general, the determination of fruit maturity very rarely uses coloring but only uses the status of the fall of the fruit from oil palm bunches, so there is a lack of comprehensive knowledge when harvesting. The need for color indicators is needed in classifying the maturity of the fruit to be processed, so this research needs to do a kind of expert system based on edge detection and RGB coloring.
