Abstract

This research aims to study the degree of vacuum and temperature RBDPO in scrubbrer against PFAD produced. The experimental design used was a draft Plots Divided (RPT), which consists of the whole plot is the condition of vacuum and temperature plots are part RBDPO. Whole plot consists of 3 levels vacuum conditions, namely: S1 (3.8 mbarr), S2 (3.9 mbarr), S3 (4 mbarr). Split plot consists of 8 degree temperatures, namely; L1 = 1870C - 198,80C, L2 = 198,90C-206,70C, L3 = 206,80C-216,60C, L4 = 216,70C - 226,50C, L5 = 226,60C - 236,40C, L6 = 236,50C - 246,30C, L7 = 246,40C - 256,20C, L8 = 256,30C - 266.1 0C.
Results of the study is the first phase of FFA in PFAD, vacuum conditions (S) and the temperature RBDPO (L) effect on FFA to PFAD. Results PFAD the highest of 92.75% at 4.0 mbarr vacuum treatment with a temperature of 226.6 to 236.4 0C. PFAD generated while the lowest is in treatment 3.9 mbarr vacuum and temperature result 256.3-266.10 C 86.87%. On the results of the second study was flowrate, vacuum conditions (S) and the temperature RBDPO (L) did not significantly affect PFAD flowrate. However, if the figure seen the highest results obtained in the treatment flowrate 4.0 mbarr vacuum and temperature of 236.5 to 246.3 0C with results PFAD 7.0 ton / hr, and the flowrate obtained the lowest yield was at 4.0 mbarr treatment vacuum and temperatures from 187 to 198.8 0C with results of 5.5 ton / hour.
